Media: DIY sensors, Arduino (Nano) technology, found bowls, digital code and water. 2017
Synopsis:
This project developed from a curiosity of what might exists within the quiet potentials on the surface of water. The undulation projects are an experimentation into how something silent if disturbed could produce a space of tranquility, peace and meditation. Both the bowls and the chandler were placed in a darkened room together where either the fan quietly blowing against the surface of the water, or visitors blowing gently into the bowls, produced ripples which were translated into data and subsequently into a musical composition to fill the quiet space with a calming purpose.
